Two character designs and models created for the upcoming game trailer "Cirque D'Arcanum".
Both were sculpted in ZBrush and Blender, and retopologised in Maya. The upcoming texturing work will be done using Substance Painter, and will be focused on creating a claymation-inspired style.
My contribution to this project also involved art direction.
The style of the project is strongly inspired by stop motion animation, and the character designs draw inspiration from movies such as Coraline or Paranorman (LAIKA Studios).
The Contortionist's design is inspired by insects and dolls, featuring ball joints to create a sense of flexibility.
